CITI Global Wealth Management (GWM)Finance Manager, Institutional Client Segment

This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong finance team and gain high level exposure with senior management while working on critical business issues and challenging, multi-faceted assignments. As finance manager you will also work closely with multiple business areas on a daily basis and develop in-depth knowledge of key business drivers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct weekly and monthly effort to produce highly detailed performance reports and additional reporting packages for Senior Management, including the preparation of variance analysis and explanations vs. actual performance;
Develop, maintain and enhance analytic tools to assist in driving profitable growth and understanding the effect of strategic decisions on profitability;
Prepare annual financial plan and quarterly forecasts;
Direct effort to maintain models to ensure appropriate reporting, and incorporate appropriate enhancements into models to provide additional insight into the key performance metrics;
Implement controls within unit to ensure validity;
Interact with Business Managers and Sector Financial Planning and Analysis to formulate the financial projections for business and analyze and understand the actual performance;
Liaise with Billing and the Accounting department to ensure all of the revenues, expenses, accruals, headcount and reserves affecting the entire business are properly booked;
Perform other financial analysis as needed to support the business;
Work with various product managers / business areas / product groups to analyze new business proposals and other growth opportunities and evaluate product line performance relative to the industry and other benchmarks;
Work with counterparts at other areas of Citigroup to assure accurate reporting of revenues and expenses.

Specifications / Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA with finance, accounting or related field of study highly preferred;
Minimum of 5 years financial analysis experience, in global financial services firm highly preferred;
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills a must;
Demonstrated facility with MS Excel, PowerPoint and other computer-based applications;
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required;
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and work in a team required;
Must have strong initiative and creativity;
Must be Able to plan, prioritize and organize projects to accomplish objectives.
