Global wealth management unit of Citi is a leading provider of comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to high net worth investors, institutions, corporations and private businesses, governments and foundations. With approximately 12,100 financial consultants in some 500 offices, GWM offers a full suite of investment services, including asset allocation, private investments and lending services, hedge funds, cash and portfolio management, as well as retirement, education and estate planning.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain high level exposure with senior management while working on critical business issues and challenging, multi-faceted assignments. As finance manager you will also work closely with multiple business areas on a daily basis and develop in-depth knowledge of key business drivers.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Produce quantitative analysis across key business drivers, including sales force effectiveness, pricing, product management and operational functions;
Create financial modeling for impact analysis, related to new initiatives for business improvement;
Identify opportunities for growth, formulate strategy and support business development;
Support initiatives for business improvement, working closely with the business areas and product groups, and support project launch and execution;
Develop reports and presentations for senior management on business performance, financial results, new initiatives, and competitor analysis.
Specifications / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA degree preferred;
Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in Planning & Analysis or Financial
Management role required, brokerage experience highly preferred;
Excellent problem solving abilities a must;
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint required;
Proven ability to interact with managers within all levels of the organization;
Must have strong analytical and project management skills;
Demonstrated ability to support major change initiatives within large organizations;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead/work in a team;
Capability of planning/prioritizing and organizing projects to meet deadlines required;
High degree of flexibility and productivity, initiative and creativity required.
