Description:
Job Title: FAS 123R Product Manager
Global Stock Plan Services (GSPS) is a market leader in providing equity compensation plan recordkeeping and execution related services to multi-national public companies and their plan participants. GSPS currently services approximately 700 corporate clients, with nearly 4 million participants in over 100 countries.
Responsibilities include:
1. Maintain a current expert understanding of the principles of FAS 123(R) and relevant guidance, and continuously assess the implications for the GSPS FAS 123(R) product offering. Understand the evolving needs of global clients and for delivering IFRS2 using a variety of solutions in conjunction with the European team in London and Barcelona.
2. Develop long-term product strategy and delivery model based on industry trends, expert advice, corporate client requirements and the continuously evolving competitive landscape.
3. Provide support to Sales team on the basics of our FAS offering and take lead in sales presentations for our largest prospects.
4. Define product offering including standard services, premium services, client delivery model, pricing structure, and coordinate contract terms with legal team.
5. Review UAT plan for new product releases managed by Product & Application Development team, including internal and external software development, through cross organization project management lead by Associate Product Manager (APM).
6. Chair FAS Steering Committee, partnering across GSPS to develop staffing and operations processes to support evolving product offering. Provide oversight and direction to the APM who will have primary responsibility for writing Report Guides and helping create the models that support the software calculations.
7. Oversee education of client delivery organization delivered through APM
8. Develop and lead distribution of marketing collateral and external product communications in conjunction with marketing, legal and business development staffs.
9. Support sales and legal on new business opportunities including RFP responses, discovery, service proposals and contracts.
10. Deliver public product presentations and demonstrations including Client conference calls, Client Advisory Board, Client User Board and NASPP
11. Manage vendor relationships including Big Four consulting advisor, third-party software supplier and other consultants; manage strategic marketing relationships with valuation service providers
12. Select, train and provide direction to APM as position backup.
Specifications / Qualifications:
Qualifications:Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution; concentration in Accounting, Finance or Economics; MBA, CEP, CPA and/or professional accounting experience a plus
Good understanding of equity compensation
Strong knowledge of FAS 123R and FAS 109
Excellent quantitative, consultative, written and oral communication skills needed; 8-10 years business
