Line Management Program Manager
Position Summary
The Program Manager role will focus on managing the strategy and day-to-day process and implementation of proactive credit line increases and decreases.
Keys to success in this role include the ability to lead peers from cross-functional teams through the strategic development and execution of the program. Candidates should be comfortable prioritizing among varying business priorities and managing multiple work streams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
The Line Management Program Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for the strategic development and execution of the line management program. Key responsibilities include:
·Regular collaboration with Risk and Decision Management to drive customer eligibility and line assignment strategies, with a heavy focus on the test-read-roll process.
·Accountability for the overall implementation and execution of the strategy, which entails partnering with cross-functional teams to select the eligible universe, apply line assignments and produce customer communications.
·Translating all strategic initiatives into actionable criteria that can be executed upon by various teams.
·Auditing key steps to ensure flawless execution.
·Manage all marketing communications to our customers via direct mail, email, and statement channels.
·Working with creative agencies to coordinate development of new marketing copy and creative material.
·Optimizing a contact strategy that considers speed to market, customer preferences, and expense management.
·Contribute to long term development of the program including changes to strategy and policies as consumer, business and economic conditions change and evolve.
Key Friction/Collaboration Points
· Work with Risk and Decision Management on key strategic aspects of the program including determining the optimal eligible universe, line assignments and developing the program level P&L forecasts.
· Manage expense forecast in conjunction with CFO team.
All program execution will be accomplished with the Business Delivery and Execution teams.
Qualifications
Business and Technical Requirements
· 4 years of business experience
· Bachelors degree required
· Strategic, critical, franchise thinker
· Strong sense of accountability and decisiveness in a strong work ethic culture
· Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency
· Data-oriented, financial acumen with a business manager mindset
Leadership Competencies
· Pragmatic problem-solver, forward thinker with independence of thought
· Self-motivated with a passion to transform the Citi Cards business
· Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
· Ability to create support and buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders; create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies, decision makers and stakeholders
Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down functional silos to optimize business results and to facilitate the overall growth of the Citi Cards franchise
