Description:
Primary Responsibilities: (List specific responsibilities, overall contributions, and daily tasks)Manage and maintain Residential Real Estate's (RRE) data reporting and information technology infrastructure.
Directly manage a Jr Technologist in the development, maintenance and enhancement of primarily MS-Access based query and reporting tools.
Provide strategic direction for RRE's information technology capabilities, and work directly with the Director of Operations & Technology to define, prioritize and execute the strategic vision.
Communicate directly and effectively with the RRE user base to define technology and reporting needs. Gather business requirements and review, analyze, and evaluate complex business systems and user needs.
Communicate directly and effectively with RRE's partners to define and deliver data and technology solutions.
Support and/or lead strategic and mission-critical projects for RRE.
Internal/External Contacts: (List cross-functional contacts, internal and external clients)RRE management team and user base
Business analysts with GWM's primary channels (LFG, HNW and SB)
GWAS Marketing
External software vendors
Information Technology at CitiMortgage
US Market Regions - Managing Directors, GMM's and Bankers
Specifications / Qualifications:
Experience/Knowledge/Skills: (List essential skills, i.e. managerial/technical, and number of years experience)Eight plus years experience with MS Access and relational database management. Banking/mortgage experience a plus.
Knowledge of Oracle database; the ability to write Oracle views would be a plus.
Expert knowledge of MS Access and its development component (Visual Basic)
Strong database query and report writing skills.
Exceptional listening skills, attention to detail, and strives for quality and results. Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of programming concepts, design, procedures, and practices.
Proven experience in the development of complex projects including technical analysis and design.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and project leadership skills.
Ability to deal with high stress situations while maintaining composure.
Strong organizational and time management skills, and problem solving ability.
Ability to supervise and direct staff.
