Citi Global Wealth Management's 401(k) Products Group manages product solutions, develops value-added resources as well as trains and supports Smith Barney Financial Advisors in the sale and service of 401(k) plans. These products and services are delivered by leading third party alliance partners. The Group also focuses on the capture of IRA rollover opportunities available through the 401(k) plans. The Firm is dedicated to increasing its commitment to the retirement market, and providing value-added services delivered primarily through its Smith Barney Financial Advisors.
Position Summary:
Join the 401(k) Products Group and help drive the development, enhancement and support of technology-based solutions, including those designed to support Financial Advisors in their 401k business, provide business reporting, and deliver advisory services to plan participants. Interact with Financial Advisors, internal technology and investment professionals, as well as a wide array of well-known mutual fund and annuity providers, such as Fidelity, American Funds, John Hancock, MFS and others. Produce periodic business reporting to track success among providers.

Activities Include:Enhance, streamline and support process to provide asset allocation services to Participants of 401(k) Plans by working closely with external and internal partners.
Develop, expand and coordinate transmissions of plan data by working with internal systems coordinators along with business partners from top mutual fund providers, annuity providers and TPAs
Produce periodic business reporting, including executive summary
Develop, enhance and support Financial Advisor user experience on tools designed to support 401(k) business
Manage implementation and communication of periodic Asset Allocation Changes
Communicate relevant information to Financial Advisors and clients by working closely with marketing area
Manage third party vendor relationships and expenses
Respond to Financial Advisor Inquiries

Specifications / Qualifications:
3 - 5 years project or product management experience, preferably in the financial services industry
Experience working with technology issues; preferably with web-based solutions, and transmissions of data
Bachelors degree required
Excellent quantitative skills; experience in producing business reports
Knowledge of 401k plans a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
