Product Manager, Endowments and Funds
The Endowments and Funds Product Manager, working closely with Technology and the Business, will have end to end responsibility for the development and upkeep of a custody and accounting solution for the Endowments and Funds sector, including managinging these new product offerings from product definition through to delivery into the marketplace. This involves leading interactive focus groups, writing business requirements, evaluating partnership opportunities, and managing projects through to successful implementation.
Responsibilities include:Contribute to product definition and strategy for E&F products globally
Write BRD and related documentation, manage requirements gathering and documentation
Gather and analyze market research for products in order to monitor market sizings, trends, and growth projections
Assess performance of existing products and developing strategies for improvement
Manage the key success metrics - on-time, on-budget, quality (defects, client experience, etc)
Analyze product/customer performance and document metrics
Conduct customer and competitive research
Evaluate potential new product/market opportunities globally to help drive increased revenues
Define technology strategies in support of existing products, including current offerings and capabilities; develop recommendations for enhancements and manage implementation of recommended enhancements
Develop product pricing strategies; evaluate and monitor pricing of Citi and competitors for key products
Create product presentations and product collateral materials
Define and implement desired Marketing and Promotion activities in coordination with division marketing personnel
Specifications / Qualifications:
General Knowledge/Skills Required
BA/BS with 5 - 10 years experience in the Endowments and Funds space, preferable in a product role
Demonstrated understanding of the financial services business and a strong interest in technology
Strong collaboration, relationship management, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
Good judgment, analytical skills, logical thinker, detail oriented, strong follow through
Ability to drive projects to completion, as well as manage multiple, competing priorities
Ability to understand, track, and communicate business issues
Proven experience managing a large project
