Global Wealth Management (GWM) is a division of Citigroup that encompasses the Private Bank, Smith Barney and Global Investment Research. Smith Barney is the global private wealth management of Citigroup. It is a leading provider of comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to high net worth investors, institutions, corporations and private businesses, with approximately 13,500 Financial Consultants in some 600 offices. Citigroup Private Bank provides personalized wealth management services for our affluent clients who include many of the world's most influential entrepreneurs, families and senior corporate executives. With 90 offices in 58 cities in 31 countries, it is one of the world's most global private banks. Combined the GWM division is one of the largest wealth management players in the world, with over US$1.3 trillion in client assets under management.
Global Wealth Management is building a new business focused on the Mass Affluent market.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and prioritize debt / credit topics for the myFi offering based on relevance to our target clients
· Jointly with our Marketing and Strategy Development (MSD) group and with financial planning specialists in GWM, continuously develop and enhance content and general advice around prioritized debt / credit topics
· Design, build, implement and manage client and advisor facing solutions that help our clients better understand and manage their debt situation; in this process
- Identify and assess internal and external (vendor) alternative solutions
- Work with our Client Services and MSD groups to ensure alignment and buy-in
- Where appropriate, work with financial planning and quantitative finance experts in GWM to ensure alignment with the myFi philosophy and robustness of underlying analytics
· Work closely with the Client Discovery Manager to ensure seamless integration of our debt solutions with the myFi Discovery process
· Ensure close coordination with the GWM product group
· Continuously monitor competitors' equivalent offerings, ensuring competitiveness and strategic positioning of myFi
· Develop, jointly with Finance, economic analyses justifying proposed investments
· Where necessary, jointly with Marketing Strategy & Development, drive customer research to help define and validate enhancements to our debt solutions
Specifications / Qualifications:
· Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 (five) years of experience in Financial Services, with experience in credit / debt
· Good business sense, structured thinking and strong strategic mindset
· Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence
· Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership
· MBA a plus
