Description:

Primary focus areas include the following Risk Management Technology & Tools Design functions:Assist Risk Tools Design Director in developing new risk measurement tools that assess Risk Management effectiveness and insure Basel II compliance.
Develop metrics for assessing risk during and post implementation in compliance with tolerance thresholds set by credit and operational risk.
Detailed interaction with business sector and corporate center technology development teams.
Assist data gathering information from the various sector teams and produce the reporting documentation insuring all data meets Basel II reporting requirements.
Assist in development of a project plan to redesign Risk Capital, Loan Loss Reserve, and Operational Risk assessment processes and systems within the Basel II framework.
Help formulate redesign plan, implement and code system changes.
Assist with development of web interfaces to improve data distribution tools and controls
Help develop efficient ad hoc reporting and analysis tools

Provide quality assurance and data testing support during development life cycle of new and redesigned systems. Interface with various technology production teams across multiple platforms including the following areas:Systems and Technical Architecture
Quality Assurance and Integration Design
Simulations and Data Modeling
Risk and Regulatory Oversight

Specifications / Qualifications:
5+ years management information systems / design implementation and programming experience
Familiarity with all phases of the systems development life cycle
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to program stakeholders and project teams
Experience with interacting with technology production management teams
Advanced programming and web interface design skills such as a minimum of 2 years familiarity with SAS, Java, UNIX, C/C++, SQl using Sybase or Oracle
Familiarity with OLAP tools such as Cognos, Essbase or Business Objects is a plus
Familiarity with web based design tools and interfaces is preferred
Ability to work independently and pro-actively on multiple tasks and/or projects
Attention to detail and a willingness to get involved in helping teams resolve problems
